Bringing Watamu to the World

The video is being broadcast by the Make It Kenya and HerdTracker team on HerdTracker’s Periscope account, which you can view on a web browser here: www.periscope.tv/herdtracker. There will be at least three broadcasts per day from 7 – 18 January, featuring nighttime lion tracking in the Mara and the release of turtles into the ocean in Watamu with Local Ocean Trust.

You can also follow the campaign on mobile, by downloading the Periscope app and following HerdTracker’s account. To do this, simply:

Once downloaded, you’ll need to sign in with your Twitter username and log in, or sign up to Periscope with your email address. When you’ve logged into the app, use the microscope icon in the top left corner to search for HerdTracker, and then click follow. You will now receive notifications on your phone every time a #KenyaLive broadcast is live.
